Pam Prince

Pamela Prince received her dyslexia therapist training at the Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas and became a Certified Academic Language Therapist in May 2007. She received her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a emphasis in reading in December 2009 at Our Lady of the Lake University. Pam became a qualified instruction in May 2015 and a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist in 2010. Currently, Pam Contracts with the Scottish Rite Learning Center of South Texas training teachers to become dyslexia therapists.


Stacy Greene

MA, LDT, CALT-QI

Stacy Greene received her Dyslexia Therapist training from the Scottish Rite Learning Center of Austin and became a Certified Academic Language Therapist in 2009. She became a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist in 2010. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Stacy also has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She received her Qualified Instructor training at the Scottish Rite Learning Center of South Texas in 2020. She is currently a Reading Specialist with Northside ISD.


Kathlene Pruitt

MA, LDT, CALT-QI (IN-TRAINING)

Kathlene Pruitt received her dyslexia therapist training at the Scottish Rite Learning Center of Austin and became a Certified Academic Language Therapist in 2012. She received her Masters of Art in Teaching in 2008 from The Incarnate Word University. Kathlene became a Certified Academic Language Therapist and a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist in 2012. She is in training to become a Qualified Instructor at the Scottish Rite Learning Center of South Texas training teachers to become dyslexia therapists. She is currently a Dyslexia Therapist with Judson ISD.

Janice Robson

Janice Robson earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education with a Minor in Reading from Texas A&M University.  She retired from 30 years of public education in Texas in 2010.  She retired as the Dyslexia Coordinator for Judson I.S.D.  She received her dyslexia therapist training at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas, and became a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) in May 2002.  She received her Master’s in Special Education, along with an Educational Diagnostician certification, in December 2005, at Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas.  Janice continued to train at the Austin Scottish Rite Learning Center in order to become a Qualified Instructor (QI), which she completed in May 2007.  In 2010, Janice became a licensed Dyslexia Therapist.  Having attained this qualification, Janice contracts with the Dyslexia Center of Austin and the Scottish Rite Learning Center of South Texas to train teachers to become Dyslexia Therapists.  As a Certified Educational Diagnostician, Janice also administers psychoeducational assessments to identify dyslexia.  Janice has served on the Academic Language Therapists Association (ALTA) Board of Directors from 2013 to 2017.


Our History

The Scottish Rite Learning Center of South Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1984 to provide services to children with dyslexia while at the same time serving as a center for professional development.
